Business Development, IBM TradeLens
Ana Arisawa is responsible for IBM’s blockchain business development with focus on TradeLens– a collaborative program between IBM and A.P. Moller-Maersk to transform and digitize global trade leveraging Blockchain technology (www.tradelens.com). Ms. Arisawa believes passionately that blockchain technology can make global trade more seamless and more efficient by providing the elements of trust and privacy that were missing in previous generations of technology, thus it will unlock a digital transformation in the space.
Ms. Arisawa has extensive experience working on international cross-functional projects with senior management teams. She led and participated on several high impact teams to deliver projects in Supply Chain and Operations Optimization, Global Strategy and Business Development and Technology Enabled Business Optimization.
Prior to IBM, Ms. Arisawa worked as an industry professional in various capacities for L’Oréal (in France and Brazil), Amazon (in the U.S.) and P&G (in Germany). She also worked as an investment advisor/consultant for the UBS bank (in Brazil).
Ms. Arisawa holds an MBA degree in “Strategy, Marketing & Operations” from The Wharton School- University of Pennsylvania, as well as a B.Sc degree in Production Engineering from “Escola Politecnica– University of Sao Paulo– Brazil”. She is a certified Blue Core Coach at IBM providing professional and career coaching to IBMers.
