Anant Bhardwaj is the founder & CEO of Instabase, a global technology company based in San Francisco, which provides a software platform to automate mission-critical processes by applying the latest innovations in AI. Instabase has raised more than $175M from leading investors such as Andreessen Horowitz, Greylock, NEA, Index Ventures, Tribe Capital and Spark Capital and reached unicorn status in less than four years with its Series B in 2019. Today, Instabase is helping the world’s largest financial institutions, insurance companies, retail and federal organizations, like Natwest, Standard Chartered, and AXA to automate their most complex business processes by extracting and understanding the unstructured data that underpins those business processes. Instabase has received several awards such as Forbes AI 50, Deloitte Fast 500, Forbes Best Startup Employer, BuiltIn Best Places to Work, LinkedIn Top Startups, Goldman Sachs Builders and Innovators, Intelligent Applications Top 40 (IA 40), etc. Before Instabase, Anant Bhardwaj was a Ph.D. student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He dropped out of the PhD program to start Instabase. Anant holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Pune.
