Sean Drake is the Founder & Managing Partner of Stony Lonesome Group (SLG) where he serves as the Managing General Partner and Chief Investment Officer of 5 funds. Mr. Drake serves on the Board of Directors of Arria NLG, Hemotek, Warrior Centric Health, RxBandz, and Cyberspatial. Stony Lonesome Group is a Venture Capital firm with $75m AUM invested across 60+ companies specializing in Mission Focused Investing in Dual-Use technology. Fund II has a sector focus of Military Medicine, Healthcare & Veteran Care. Fund III has a sector focus of Cybersecurity, Smart Data, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Autonomy. SLG is currently raising Stony Lonesome Capital Special Reserve II, a $150m Growth Equity opportunity fund making follow on investments in the best vintages of SLG venture backed portfolio companies. Sean is also the Founder & Chairman of the Board of Pathfinder Solutions Group, a consulting firm focused on government capture for SLG portfolio companies. Sean was previously a high-performance coach at the US Olympic Training Center working with USA Cycling and USA Triathlon. He competed in the Ironman World Championships in HI and the Duathlon World Championships in Italy. Sean also served as an Infantry Captain in the US Army. Mr. Drake holds a B.S. from the United States Military Academy, West Point NY (1990) and a M.S., Exercise Science, University of Colorado, Colorado Springs CO (1999).
