Brian Bandell is real estate editor at the South Florida Business Journal, covering the busy real estate market. He’s been at SFBJ for 20 years. He’s won more than 25 journalism awards, including a Green Eyeshade from the Society of Professional Journalists for best business enterprise reporting in the Southeast. The Florida Press Club has awarded him first place for both business writing and government reporting in Florida. He’s the author of Jewish-themed science fiction story The Rabbi and the Condemned, a science fiction series with Mute and Silence the Living, the murder gone viral thriller Famous After Death, and a science fiction combat short story Medical Martial Arts. He grew up on Florida’s Space Coast and holds a B.S. in communications from the University of Miami.
