Adam Wilson has carved a unique path that seamlessly blends business development practices with strategic and technical prowess, having garnered more than 10 years of experience working in the areas of business development and success strategy, primarily at Cardinal Health, Teva Pharmaceuticals and Henry Schein One. Since 2022, his vision has led him to embark upon a journey into South Florida’s tech ecosystem, beginning at Miami Dade College where he is currently completing the cybersecurity and artificial intelligence programs. Adam’s passion for cybersecurity is evident in his academic pursuits, where he currently serves over 20,000 students as the student president of the Wolfson Cybersecurity Association at MDCs’ main campus. In this role, he champions initiatives that foster a deeper understanding of digital threats while cultivating a culture of cyber resilience among his peers. In 2023, in alignment with the overarching strategy of the $42.45 billion dollar Broadband, Equity, Access & Deployment Program (BEAD), a leg of the FutureReady Miami-Dade economic development strategy led by Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, Adam contributes as a MDC Digital Navigator. Digital Navigators collaborate with trusted Community-Based Organizations and are a part of the Digital Adoption Initiative. Additionally, he serves as a member of the Emerging Tech Talent and Tech Skills Gap work groups through Miami Tech Works’ Tech Talent Coalition where he explores the challenges experienced by internal and external talent management stakeholders. Beyond his professional and academic endeavors, Adam provides support and program enrichment to the South Florida chapters of both the Project Management Institutes’ technology team as well as the board of directors for the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), an international professional association focused on IT governance with over 170,000 global members.
