Justis is originally from the inner city of Cleveland, Ohio. After losing family and friends to gang violence, he decided to move to Florida, where he started off sleeping on the floor in a walk-in closet. He built several companies before eventually co-founding OneSixOne Ventures, a leading pre-seed fund in the southeast.
