Cristina Benitez leads SG Ventures, the corporate ventures arm of Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits (SGWS), North America's largest wine & spirits distributor. SG Ventures focuses on investments, acquisitions, and partnerships with unlicensed companies in strategic and adjacent sectors to wine & spirits. At SGWS, Cristina has also led business development and management of key transformation initiatives, including CBD distribution, B2C eCommerce, and a digital marketing services agency. She started her career at Morgan Stanley and transitioned into management consulting at Deloitte Consulting LLP, leading multiple strategy and transformation projects for across industries. She holds an MBA from Columbia University and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania. Cristina was born and raised in Puerto Rico in a Colombian and Cuban family. She lived in NYC until 2015 when she moved to Miami where she lives with her husband and daughter.
