Will Perez is a Senior Solutions Architect in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Global Sales Technology Organization. His organization helps customers enable digital transformation, new customer experiences, and business innovation outcomes. Prior to this role, he was a Senior Security Consultant in AWS Professional Services for 2 years. In this role he focused on Enterprise Security Architecture at Fortune 500 enterprises in various industries such as Pharmaceuticals, Airlines, and Payment/Data Processors. He is a champion for Early Career technical talent and Women in Tech. Prior to joining AWS, he was responsible for leading Royal Caribbean’s Group (RCG) cybersecurity teams to secure and deploy solutions that minimize risks and improve operational resiliency for all RCG businesses and cruise ships. Will has 25 years of professional IT experience as a developer, systems administrator, solutions architect, enterprise security architect and head of security and has led large-scale cloud transformation efforts. Will has a Doctorate degree in Information Assurance from Nova Southeastern University and a professional certificate in Data Analytics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is based out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
