Lisa Coleman is the director of critical care at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Coleman obtained a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Florida International University, and an MBA and Master of Health Administration from the University of Phoenix. Coleman previously led the trauma intermediate care unit at Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial. As the nurse manager of that unit, she coordinated operational management for improved efficiency, with a focus on staff engagement, patient outcomes, and patient satisfaction. She was instrumental in the development and opening of the Miami Grand Prix Medical Center during the Formula 1 annual event, where Jackson’s Ryder Trauma Center serves as the exclusive medical provider. Prior to joining Jackson in 2019, Coleman previously held nursing roles at Baptist Health South Florida and Cleveland Clinic Florida.
