Josh Sol has nearly 20 years of experience in healthcare information technology (IT) and digital transformation, bringing deep expertise in leveraging digital innovation to enhance healthcare organizations. He has experience integrating IT, operational, and innovative insights to develop unique strategies across healthcare operations, clinical areas, and various segments of the healthcare spectrum. This includes digital enablement in patient access, clinical and revenue cycle, full lifecycle implementations from system selection through optimization, and artificial intelligence planning and execution. At FTI Consulting, Mr. Sol has led numerous digital transformation initiatives, driving results through cost reduction, quality improvement, and revenue growth, while ensuring innovations align with organizational culture. Notable clients include Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami, where he helped develop their innovation department and go-to-market strategy for commercialized products. He also led digital assessments, due diligence reviews, technology optimization, and system selections to enhance clients' digital maturity. Prior to FTI, Mr. Sol served as Administrative Director for Ambulatory Clinical Systems and Innovation at Houston Methodist for 12 years, after leading IT and operations at ValleyCare Health System in Northern California. His career highlights include leading full lifecycle EMR implementations—including Meditech, NextGen, eClinicalWorks, Athena, and Epic—across both inpatient and outpatient settings. His efforts contributed to achieving HIMSS Stage 7 in the Outpatient EMR Adoption Model (O-EMRAM) and CHIME's "Most Wired" recognition in ambulatory technology. In 2022, Mr. Sol was honored with the Cadillac-sponsored Shaping Houston award for his contributions to healthcare innovation. Mr. Sol’s expertise spans patient access, revenue cycle automation, clinical efficiencies, population health, virtual healthcare, data interoperability, and mobile and medical device solutions. As an advisor to Texas Medical Center innovation, tech accelerators, startups, and private equity groups, he champions consumer-centric innovation while identifying cost-saving opportunities. Through thought leadership and client-focused strategies, he enhances physician and patient engagement, aligns technology to business needs, and drives operational efficiencies.
