Matt Cimaglia is an entrepreneur, investor, and advocate for advancing innovation in emerging technologies. As Managing Partner of Quantum Coast Capital (QCC), he leads investments in early-stage companies across the quantum ecosystem, including hardware, software, sensing, and networking. With experience on both the entrepreneurial and investment sides, Matt focuses on identifying and scaling disruptive technologies that will define the future. With firsthand experience building and scaling companies through successful exits, Matt understands the challenges of bringing deep-tech innovations to market. He is passionate about making quantum computing more accessible, helping business leaders and investors navigate its real-world applications and long-term potential. Beyond investment, Matt is committed to workforce development and education in quantum technology. He actively supports initiatives that build talent pipelines at both the K-12 and university levels, ensuring the next generation is equipped to lead in this rapidly evolving field. He is also deeply involved in the arts, having served on the boards of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Boca Raton Center for Arts & Innovation, where he has worked to bridge creativity and technology. As quantum computing moves from theory to reality, Matt continues to engage with industry leaders, educators, and policymakers to ensure its responsible and impactful adoption.
