Ileana Bravo is an award-winning journalist and media professional... and a familiar face to South Florida television viewers for the past three decades. A proud University of Miami communications graduate, Ileana was a Reporter/Anchor specializing in health and medical news and has been awarded four regional Emmy awards for journalistic excellence, as well as the prestigious DuPont–Columbia University Award, and Peabody Award for team coverage of Hurricane Andrew. After retiring from TV News, she established a media and marketing consulting firm and today is a spokesperson for University of Miami Hospital Systems, hosting "Cuidando Su Salud"-- a Spanish language sponsored program on Telemundo51.
