Florian Berchtold has been responsible for DevOps, Infrastructure and MLops at Luminar Technologies. He led a highly successful team of engineers, and created a state of the art datacenter deployment, supporting on-prem machine learning workloads, inference batch jobs and data ingestion from a fleet of data collection vehicles. More recently, he took over the position of Principal Engineer at Zipline, leading their developer productivity team as well as being tasked with taking the technology stack for datacenter operations to the next level, enabling a highly automated, low maintenance infrastructure operations.
