Christi Fraga

Christi Fraga has called Doral home for over twenty years, where she and her husband chose to raise their son—shaping her commitment to community and quality of life. Elected in 2012 as the youngest Councilmember in Doral’s history and later serving as Vice Mayor, she has championed initiatives supporting youth, families, and seniors. She also served on the Miami-Dade School Board, overseeing a $7 billion budget. Elected Mayor in 2022 and re-elected in 2024 with a historic 80% of the vote, Mayor Fraga has delivered results. Crime has decreased by 30%, key City services have improved, and Doral Central Park was completed. Under her leadership, the City achieved a Triple AAA bond rating while maintaining the lowest millage rate in the county—ensuring strong financial health and continued growth.
