He is an Assistant Director at JETRO Atlanta, where he has spent more than 20 years supporting cross‑border business development between Japan and the United States. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with U.S. companies entering the Japanese market, as well as Japanese companies seeking business partnerships, market entry, and expansion opportunities in the U.S. His expertise spans a wide range of industries, and he has played a key role in facilitating strategic collaborations, investment projects, and long‑term partnerships by connecting companies with the right local partners, industry experts, and public‑sector stakeholders. Having lived and worked in Japan, he brings deep firsthand experience of Japanese business practices and decision‑making processes. Combined with his long professional career in the United States, he possesses a strong understanding of the cultural, organizational, and communication differences between the two markets. This bicultural perspective allows him to serve as an effective bridge, helping both Japanese and U.S. companies navigate cross‑cultural challenges and build successful, trust‑based relationships. He is deeply committed to strengthening economic ties between Japan and the Southeastern United States.
