Todd Holt is the Vice President of Business Development for the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance (Alliance), Broward County’s official public/private partnership for economic development. In this role, Todd is responsible for identifying and assisting companies looking to expand and/or relocate to Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County with a specialization in the Life Sciences. Todd has been responsible for several notable relocation and expansion projects including Lupin Pharmaceuticals, Styker-MAKO, Goodwin Biotechnology, Inc. (GBI), Magic Leap, West Marine, and American Express. Prior to joining the Alliance, Todd was the Project Manager, Life Sciences with Enterprise Florida (2006-2011), where he was tasked with facilitating the “Life Sciences” sector throughout the State of Florida. Todd led a number of high-profile recruitment efforts including Becton Dickinson & Company, Torrey Pines Institute of Molecular Studies, University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, and the Max Planck Florida Institute. Todd holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Arkansas, and a Master of Science Degree in Economic Development as a recipient of the Herring Fellowship at Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi. Todd currently serves on the Life Sciences South Florida (LSSF) Executive Board, South Florida Manufacturers Association (SFMA) Board of Directors, Leadership Broward Board of Directors, Area Agency on Aging of Broward County Board of Directors, and the BioFlorida SE Chapter Leadership Board. Todd is a graduate of Leadership Broward Class XXXIII.
