Tahl Milburn

Tahl has had an extensive career, predominantly in Silicon Valley. Early on, he worked for system integration companies, pioneering some of the first factory automation projects at Ford and GM. He later transitioned to the finance industry, becoming the CTO of Providian Financial, a Fortune 500 company eventually acquired by Chase. At Cisco, Tahl built and managed a global enterprise architecture consulting practice, expanding it to 13 countries. He then moved to Visa, where he oversaw the company's enterprise architecture group and was responsible for the company's technology master plan. During his tenure at Visa, Tahl was introduced to the startup world through technology due diligences for acquisitions. His team played a key role in the $1.6 billion acquisition of Cybersource as well as the acquisition of Playspan. Just as he was preparing for an early retirement, Tahl founded Lifestate, an IoT healthcare startup, in 2015. He exited that company in 2019 and relocated to Florida. Currently, Tahl is an AI Technologist, advising companies and engaging in hands-on generative AI development. He is a guest lecturer on AI at Florida International University (FIU) and Florida Atlantic University (FAU). Tahl is a managing partner, board member and active angel investor with Seedfunders. He continues to give back to the startup ecosystem by mentoring new ventures and delivering his highly sought-after pitch class periodically.
