Sumit Kapur, CEO of Zapata Quantum, is a proven hypergrowth leader with a track record of scaling complex, technology-driven businesses from startup through $1BN+ in revenue. He has led organizations spanning AI, energy and financial services through periods of rapid growth, transformation, and restructuring. Prior to Zapata, he scaled 3Degrees, an energy machine-learning platform, over 50x from $5M to $1BN revenue through a combination of new product development, M&A and international expansion. He also brings deep capital raising experience, having executed $1BN+ in capital markets and structured finance transactions at Morgan Stanley. He holds a degree in Mathematics from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
