Steven Meiner served a distinguished four-year tenure as City of Miami Beach Commissioner (2019-2023), during which he brought forward bold and innovative initiatives focused on law and order and the overall quality of life for Miami Beach residents. Now, as Mayor, Steven Meiner’s leadership has built upon this foundation, enhancing public safety and police visibility, fostering transparency and accountability. Mayor Meiner’s accomplishments include spearheading legislative changes that significantly increased the successful prosecution rate of municipal misdemeanor arrests, especially for repeat offenders. He brought legislation against street-level drug dealing and dangerous biker/bicyclist groups. His commitment to responsible development was evident in initiatives requiring a stricter commission vote for building size increases. Mayor Meiner also serves as Senior Executive at Farkas Capital Management, LLC, the Manager of reslLience fund, LP and as general partner of reslLience fund GP, LLC. The reslLience fund was formed with the primary goal of ensuring Israel becomes completely self-sufficient in all life-sustaining food items through AgTech, large-scale local production, and improving farming efficiency, economies of scale and profitable growth opportunities.
