SGM Matthew Gerardot (Ret)

As President of O2i (Operator 2 Industry), Matt brings more than 20 years of Special Operations experience to the challenge of building stronger bridges between the military and the private sector. A retired Sergeant Major and Special Operations veteran, he has led teams in some of the most demanding environments in the world and now focuses that same mission-first mindset on helping service members and their families thrive in life after uniform. Throughout his the military career, Matt excelled at developing people, building high-performing teams, and navigating complex problems under pressure. That experience fuels his work at O2i, where the mission is to translate the unique skills, culture, and values of the military community into meaningful, sustainable opportunities in industry. Matt works closely with employers, veterans, and spouses to close communication gaps, align expectations, and create pathways where both organizations and families thrive.
