Pete Martinez is the Founder & CEO of Sivotec, the parent company of GENA, a pioneering AI-powered genomic SaaS company. As the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of the Sivotec family of companies, he leads high-innovation enterprises at the intersection of genomics, artificial intelligence, healthcare, and advanced technology. With a career spanning AI-driven healthcare transformation, precision medicine, and computational biology, he is dedicated to advancing genomic intelligence for better patient outcomes. During his 32-year tenure at IBM, Martinez served as Vice President of Global Business Services, leading major initiatives in supercomputing, AI, and information-based medicine. He played a key role in forming IBM’s largest Business Transformation Multi-client Center and spearheaded the company’s e-business Strategy Consulting practice. His leadership extended to global initiatives, including AI applications in healthcare, pandemic research, and computational biology. Martinez is actively engaged in academic and research communities, holding affiliations with MIT, Florida Atlantic University, Florida International University, and the University of Miami, where he chairs the School of Engineering Advisory Board. With over 30 patents in AI, robotics, and medical technology, he continues to drive innovation in genomic AI solutions that redefine precision medicine.
