Pete Martinez is Chairman and CEO of the SIVOTEC family of companies focused on the incredible innovation at the intersection of Health and high-tech. His work with Artificial Intelligence is providing revolutionary discoveries in the areas of Genomics and Brain Health. A former IBM Vice President and Senior Executive for South Florida, he has been a pilar for entrepreneurship in our community. A past Chairman of the Florida Research Consortium, visiting professor and Advisor at our local universities, and research affiliate at MIT; Martinez has been a relentless leader in the growth of South Florida as an international technology ecosystem. With over 30 patents, he has been at the forefront of innovation from the original IBM PC to Robotics, the Internet, Global Business Consulting, Supercomputers, and Project Checkmate.
