Lisa Sutton Gunderson is a General Partner at The Veteran Fund, a venture capital firm investing in early-stage, dual-use technologies led by military veterans. The fund focuses on companies advancing national security and commercial innovation across multiple sectors including defense, logistics and AI. Lisa began her career as a business attorney before transitioning into entrepreneurship, where she built and scaled multiple 7 and 8-figure companies. Her personal business portfolio includes real estate, brick & mortar shipping stores and e-commerce. In addition to her career, Lisa was a former Miss Nevada and congressional candidate. She continues to stay involved with her community by serving on the boards of YPO Las Vegas and Nevada Policy Research Institute.
