Mr. Taddeo brings over 25 years of executive experience across federal government and commercial sectors in both public and private organizations. He serves as AppGate’s Chief Executive Officer and President, previously holding the role of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), where he led global security operations, crisis management, and business continuity. He also oversaw AppGate’s federal business, partnering with sales and technical teams to deliver Zero Trust solutions for public sector customers. Prior to AppGate, Mr. Taddeo was CISO and President of Cyxtera Federal Group. He also served as Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s New York Office Special Operations/Cyber Division, leading over 400 personnel in cyber investigations, surveillance, IT support, and crisis response. His earlier FBI roles included international leadership as Section Chief in the International Operations Division, managing efforts across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. Mr. Taddeo holds a B.S. in Applied Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a J.D. from St. John’s University. He served as a tank officer in the U.S. Marine Corps and began his legal career in civil litigation at Mound Cotton Wollan & Greengrass LLP. He is a member of the New York State Bar and a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University’s CISO Executive Program.
