Katherine Webster is the CEO & Founder of VetsinTech (VIT), a nonprofit that supports our current and returning veterans with Education, Employment, and Entrepreneurship programs, and by connecting them to the national technology ecosystem. Under Katherine's leadership, VIT has grown to over 20 veteran led chapters across the U.S., gained support from more than 50 top tech companies to hire and train our veterans, military spouses and active duty service members. These efforts have resulted in a community of thousands of veterans both interested and working in technology careers, many helping future returning veterans into tech jobs around the country. Katherine has led the efforts in raising millions of dollars used to support veterans programs and training for thousands of veterans, active duty, and military spouses in cybersecurity, web development, cloud computing, professional development, and more. VIT has been invited to and recognized by the White House and Department of Labor for their innovation and leadership in creating new programs for veterans in the technology industry. VIT has also received a Certificates of Special Recognition from Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, a Certificate of Recognition from Assemblyman David Chiu, and two Certificates of Honor from the Mayor and Supervisors for the City and County of San Francisco.
