Justin Spears

Justin R. Spears is a capital architect, acquisition strategist, and founder of MXI Consulting, Generis Development Group, and Generis Capital. He works at the intersection of structured finance, growth platforms, and institutional partnerships, helping founders and operators design scalable capital stacks and execute complex transactions across technology, healthcare, consumer brands, development, energy, and defense-adjacent sectors. With a background spanning both the defense sector and advanced technology environments, Justin has led and supported initiatives involving mission-critical systems, operational modernization, and cross-sector commercialization strategies. His experience includes navigating highly regulated environments and aligning capital, compliance, and innovation in complex operating landscapes. A U.S. Navy veteran, Justin serves as Chairman of the Florida Association of Veteran Owned Businesses (FAVOB), strengthening access to capital and strategic growth pathways for veteran entrepreneurs. He is also President of the Florida Applied AI Association and mentors founders through Plug and Play, the global innovation platform connecting startups with leading corporations. Justin holds an MBA in Corporate Entrepreneurship & Innovation and an MA in Intellectual Leadership.
