Ilan Melendez is the Regional Leader of LACChain, the global alliance integrated by different actors in the blockchain environment for the development of the blockchain ecosystem in Latin America and the Caribbean. As a blockchain consultant, with over 20 years of experience in IT, he leads projects in the region related to digital identity and verifiable credentials, educational, financial markets, government, and much more. He is a Software Engineer and Business Administrator, holds an MBA in Banking and Finance, and innovation specialist and project manager.
