Olufisayo “Fisayo” Omojokun is the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education at Georgia Tech's (GT) College of Computing. Since earning his Ph.D. in computer science from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2006, he has spent his twenty-year career at GT, advancing from a postdoctoral fellow to the founding chair of the School of Computing Instruction, and now serving in his current leadership role. In the classroom, Fisayo has taught over 13,000 students across a diverse range of subjects, including theory, architecture, software engineering, and computer law. His teaching impact extends globally; his online introductory programming course alone has enrolled nearly 100,000 learners across several countries. Fisayo’s research has spanned the areas of ubiquitous computing, user interfaces, and computer science education. His most recent scholarship focuses on adapting computer science curricula for the AI era. Notably, he champions the development of problem-finding skills, preparing students to lead innovation by identifying meaningful questions in a world where AI dramatically accelerates problem-solving.
