Notable investments and board roles include Snyk, Protect AI (acquired by Palo Alto Networks for $700M), Kustomer (acquired by Meta for $1B), Superhuman (acquired by Grammarly), Keycard, Tessl, Hypernative, Blockdaemon, Spectro Cloud, SecurityScorecard, and Front. He also co-founded MState, an enterprise blockchain lab with IBM that backed Fireblocks at formation. Named to the Forbes Midas Seed List four consecutive years and ranked #1 on Business Insider's Seed 100 in 2023 and 2024, Ed authors What's 🔥 in Enterprise IT/VC, a widely read newsletter on enterprise tech and venture. With over 30 years of venture investing experience, Ed previously co-founded Dawntreader Ventures, leading inception investments in Greenplum (acquired by EMC, later Pivotal IPO), GoToMeeting (acquired by Citrix), and LivePerson (IPO).
