Dr. Tracy E. Crane is an international leader at the intersection of cancer prevention, lifestyle medicine, longevity, and AI-enabled digital health. She is the inaugural Brigette Burke Endowed Chair for Women’s Cancer Research, an Associate Professor at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, and Director of Lifestyle Medicine, Prevention, and Digital Health at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, where she also co-leads the Cancer Control Research Program. Dr. Crane's multidisciplinary research program focuses on using AI, digital biomarkers, and personalized lifestyle interventions to improve health across the cancer continuum, from prevention to treatment tolerance and survivorship. Her work is helping move precision medicine upstream, using real-time data, predictive models, and behavior-change science to identify risk earlier, intervene sooner, and improve long-term outcomes and healthspan. Dr. Crane has built scalable software platforms that support remote monitoring, personalized intervention delivery, and data-driven care at scale. She also serves as Chair for Cancer Prevention and Control for the NCI NRG Oncology research base, helping shape national research priorities. In the past five years, she has secured more than $35M in research funding, and authored more than 115 peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Crane’s work is helping define a future where AI and lifestyle medicine work together to prevent disease and help people live longer, healthier lives.
