Dr. Narayanan (KK) Krishnakumar is Chief Technology Officer at Delta Air Lines since 2018. KK leads the Cloud transformation program, Technology Strategy and Architecture, Enterprise Quality Strategy and Execution and a number of key application delivery groups. He is also responsible for Delta’s applications layer transformation and a few Centers of Expertise (Cloud, Developer Experience), all as part of the airline’s efforts to continually develop fast and innovative solutions to enhance employee and customer experiences. Before joining Delta, KK spent nine years at Dell Technologies/EMC where he was most recently Senior Vice President and CTO in Dell Digital. KK’s 30-plus-year career has included executive leadership roles within various industries and companies including State Street Corporation and Fidelity Investments. KK holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from SUNY - Stony Brook, an MBA from the Babson College F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, and a B.Tech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (Madras). Krishnakumar is a published author with 19 technical papers, multiple awarded/submitted patents and a book, "Databases and Mobile Computing" to his credit.
