Dan Hendrix

Daniel Hendrix is an executive leader in the defense and security technology sector who specializes in bridging operational requirements with emerging capabilities. He has extensive experience in startup design, growth and scaling with an emphasis on marketing to government, corporate and institutional customers. He is an experienced organizational leader with deep experience in managing global operations, organizing and developing high performance teams. Dan is the Co-Founder and Chief Revenue Officer of Vatn Systems, a fast growing underwater autonomy provider for defense, security and commercial markets. His market development and engagement strategy grew Vatn from startup to over $15million in revenue in less than two years, and the company is a first mover and market leader in a new low-cost underwater autonomy market. Prior to co-founding Vatn, Dan worked for Decisive Point, a private equity firm focused on defense technology investment. He is retired US Army Special Forces Officer, who spent 21 years conducting worldwide Special Operations with both Army Special Operations and Air Force Special Operations with an emphasis on Maritime Action, Intelligence and Sensitive Activities. Dan is a 2004 Graduate of the United States Air Force Academy where he holds a B.S. in Foreign Area Studies, and holds a Master of Arts in Strategic Management and Military Doctrine from the Chilean War College.
