Congressman Mario Díaz-Balart is currently fulfilling his 12th term in the U.S. House of Representatives, serving the constituents of Florida’s 26th congressional district. This district encompasses communities in Miami-Dade (including Hialeah, Hialeah Gardens, Miami Lakes, Miami Springs, Virginia Gardens, Doral, Town of Medley, Wynwood, and Allapattah) and Collier (including Golden Gate, Lely, Lely Resorts, Verona Walk, Everglades City, Chokoloskee, Ave Maria, Copeland, Plantation Island, and Ochopee) Counties. As the Dean of the Florida Congressional Delegation and Deputy Whip in Congress, Díaz-Balart is a senior leader in Congress, advancing the interests of Florida and the nation. He serves as Vice Chair of the House Committee on Appropriations and Chairman of the National Security, Department of State, and Related Programs (NSRP) Subcommittee. He is also a member of the Defense Subcommittee. Through his leadership in Congress, he has secured millions of dollars in funding to enhance public safety and invest in infrastructure projects throughout his district.
