With over 40 years of entrepreneurial experience in the satellite, wireless, automation, and communications industries, Claudio has led the successful led the execution of multiple projects for major broadcasters, government agencies, and global telecommunications companies. Throughout his career, he has driven the implementation of advanced technologies and communications services, including pioneering the deployment of early IP-based and wireless video networks. Committed to public service, Claudio has served as a Senior Technology Advisor to the Organization of American States, the Executive Office of the President of the United States, the Inter-American Defense Board, and other leading global organizations. In this capacity, he received multiple high-level commendations from the U.S. government for his contributions to advancing broadcast, communications, satellite technology, and science. In 2022, Claudio was honored with the 73rd Science, Technology & Engineering Emmy® Award from the National Academy of Television Arts & Science, its highest recognition for individuals whose technological innovations have had a significant impact on the industry and society. Currently, as President & CEO of ProximaVision Aerospace, he is leading innovation in aerospace technologies. He oversees the development of advanced drone systems powered by AI, sophisticated sensors, extended-duration flight capabilities, and next-generation transmission protocols, enabling enhanced applications for public safety and defense.
