Brad Harrison is a seasoned entrepreneur and the founder of Scout Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm specializing in National Security and Critical Technology. His firm invests in sectors like AI, robotics, autonomy, and aerospace, having successfully incubated Unite US and invested in ID.me, Voyager Space, and Tomahawk Robotics. A pioneer in connecting startups with the Department of War, Brad advises U.S. Special Operations Command and DARPA. His expertise in defense innovation has led to multiple invitations to the White House and Pentagon. He also founded a unique platform that helps veterans bridge the gap between military expertise and technological progress. Brad’s background is rooted in service and academic excellence. He is a distinguished Honor Graduate of West Point. He served five years as an Airborne Ranger, retiring as a Captain. Brad holds a degree from MIT Sloan, where he helped launch a joint MIT-Harvard incubator. In addition, he co-authored three patents in search and geo-tagging. Beyond his professional life, Brad is an active leader in the West Point Entrepreneur community, serves on the West Point Jewish Chapel Board, and supports Army Rugby. He lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife, Angie, their two children, and their two dogs.
