Ana Chammas

Ana Chammas serves as Director of Innovation and AI for Miami-Dade County, where she leads the County’s Innovation and AI Program, strategically aligned with Mayoral priorities to accelerate productivity and efficiency. In this role, she drives the adoption, scaling, and integration of artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and innovative business solutions to streamline processes, optimize resources, and enable smarter, faster decision-making across government operations. With more than 25 years of experience, Ana has helped shape the County’s emerging technology strategy and guided organizational evolution to elevate the customer experience and strengthen core public services. She advances priorities aligned with the WISE 305 vision, overseeing countywide AI policy, governance, workforce upskilling, and digital literacy initiatives, as well as use case development and process optimization that deliver measurable efficiencies. A forward-thinking leader, Ana nurtures a culture of innovation, digital skills, and adaptability to build a resilient, future-ready government that delivers lasting community benefits.
