Alan N. Sutin is Chair of the firm’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications Practice and Senior Chair of the Global Intellectual Property & Technology Practice. He is an experienced business lawyer focused on complex commercial transactions driven by intellectual property and technology. Alan advises clients on the development, acquisition, disposition, and commercial exploitation of valuable IP assets. He represents companies and investors in strategic alliances, joint ventures, and licensing arrangements, and has counseled numerous A-list celebrities in leveraging their IP to expand into non-entertainment ventures. Alan also advises major brand owners in stadium and arena naming rights transactions with NFL and NBA teams, and works with real estate developers on specialized deals where IP assets enhance the value of large-scale projects. Alan has extensive experience with Internet and e-commerce issues, major software and SaaS implementations, IT and business process outsourcing, privacy and cybersecurity matters, and the deployment of artificial intelligence technologies.
