Marlene Herrera, eMerge Americas Director of Multimedia & Content, boasts over 20 years of expertise in marketing, social media, brand development, and special events. Currently leading the charge in developing integrated digital and social media strategies, she excels in creative storytelling and dynamic visual effects to elevate brand awareness for diverse initiatives.
Her extensive career includes impactful roles in academia, nonprofit sectors, travel and hospitality, contributing significantly during her tenures at Miami Dade College and Norwegian Cruise Lines. Marlene’s career and personal endeavors have earned her over 30 awards, including Telly, Davey, Addy, and NCMPR Medallion and Paragon awards, showcasing her excellence in integrated brand campaigns, digital strategies, social innovation, and video productions.
Marlene’s academic achievements include a Master’s in Marketing and a Bachelor’s in Mass Communication with a minor in Visual Arts from Florida International University. A Miami native, she serves as a board member of 305 Pink Pack and contributes to other charitable causes in the local community. An avid traveler and photographer, she’s explored 58 countries and counting. Her passion for photography has resulted in an impressive award-winning portfolio reflecting her keen eye for capturing the essence of diverse cultures worldwide.
