Vice President and Chief Technology Officer
Chris Drumgoole is Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of General Electric. In this role, he leads the company’s digital teams globally, is responsible for the successful operation of GE’s technology applications and systems globally and drives investment and innovation into up and coming digital technologies to support GE and its customers. His work allows GE to securely innovate, develop and run the applications that GE employees and customers rely on every day.
Mr. Drumgoole joined GE from Verizon, where he served as Chief Operating Officer of Verizon’s Terremark subsidiary, a 1.3 billion cloud, hosting and data center provider. Mr. Drumgoole served as COO of Terremark prior to its sale to Verizon.
Mr. Drumgoole has over 20 years of experience in the digital and information technology industry. His work includes launching one of the world’s largest financial services online trading platforms, designing infrastructure for a well known social media technology company as well as a number of technology and network projects for the United States government. He studied Information Systems at Pace University in New York. He and his family currently reside in Miami, Florida.
