Valerie Avila

Valerie (Val) Avila is the Head of International Sales at Justworks, a HR technology company leveling the playing field for small businesses through its software and service. In this role, Val oversees the company’s sales strategy for its international products, including Employer of Record (EoR), to bring the Justworks experience to more small businesses and help them grow globally with confidence. In her 10+ years at Justworks, Val has held a variety of leadership positions in the sales organization, coaching and building the award-winning team, launching and developing cross-sell and upsell strategies, and shaping high-performing new territories along the way. Prior to Justworks, Val was a business analyst at SinglePlatform, where she tested new verticals in the small business segment, laying the foundation for her work at Justworks. Val is a member of Pavilion, and graduated from their Rising Executives School program in 2022 and CRO school in 2023. She is a Boston College alum, and currently lives in Miami.
