Oded Hermoni

Oded Hermoni is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of J-Ventures Group, which includes J-Ventures Funds, J-Impact, and J-Angels, managing $100 million in assets and is the most active foreign VC fund in Israel in H1/2024. J-Ventures is acting as a “capitalist kibbutz”, uniting 150 VC partners, 250 executives, 150 serial founders, 40 family offices, and 3 rabbis. J-Ventures also has a donation arm which supported 21 NGOs in the past year in Israel and US. With 20 years of investing experience, Oded has backed nearly 70 companies, primarily Israeli startups, including unicorns like S, DataRobot, Frisbee Medical, Neoderm, and Yotpo, with more than 25 successful exits. A key figure in Israeli high-tech, Oded was Head of the Israeli High-Tech Industry Association, a founding member of IATI, and helped launch ICON and INTRO, chairing the latter. He has served on the boards of the Jewish Federation of San Francisco, JFCS, and the Executive Committee of Global Jewry, and co-founded Shomrim. Beyond venture capital, J-Impact, the donation arm of J-Ventures, has supported 21 NGOs in Israel and the U.S. Oded also serves as a captain in the Israeli Army (reserve duty) and lives in Los Altos, California, with his wife and two children.
