Yinka Majekodunmi

Yinka Majekodunmi, CPA, is the Miami-Dade County Commission Auditor and the Founder of YM Worldwide. He is a financial executive with over 15 years of experience in private and government organizations, focusing on Information Technology, financial planning, business strategy, and audits.

As the Founder of YM Worldwide, Yinka has worked with many entrepreneurs, startups, and businesses as an advisor, mentor, and CFO, focusing on idea implementation, business development, financial strategy, financial due diligence preparation, and organizational management. He is passionate about his role as a community builder through financial literacy and has touched many people as an avid speaker.

In 2019, Yinka was appointed as the Commission Auditor of Miami-Dade County to report to the Board of County Commissioners on the operations of the County and to make findings as to whether the Board’s fiscal and legislative policy directions are efficiently and effectively implemented. He was also the former Director of Finance and Administration for the County’s Information Technology Department, where he led the development of the IT service pricing model and strategy, recapitalization plan for technology infrastructure, streamlining and modernization of the back-office functions through the design of customized applications and process automation.

Yinka holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Florida International University (FIU) and a Master’s in Accounting degree from Nova Southeastern University. He attained certificates in Angel Investing from the Angel Capital Association and Organizational Leadership from the Leadership Institute at the University of Miami.
