
Sidney Majalya

Sidney was previously Vice President, Legal and Chief Compliance Officer of Intel Corporation. He was responsible for effectively managing the company’s antitrust, anti-corruption, and other legal compliance risk globally. He is also responsible for the company’s ethics program and co-chairs the enterprise-wide Ethics & Compliance Oversight Committee (ECOC) which oversees Intel’s overall compliance risk.
Sidney joined Intel in 2019 from Uber Technologies, Inc. where he held the titles of Head of Investigations, Head of Legal Compliance and Head of Global Compliance, managing teams focused on legal, operational and global trade compliance for the 60+ countries and 700+ cities in which Uber operated. Prior to that, he worked at Oracle advising on a range of corporate compliance matters and spent nearly a decade at the Department of Justice (DOJ) as a trial attorney in the Antitrust Division. While at the DOJ, he investigated and prosecuted cases involving international price-fixing, bid-rigging, and other antitrust violations in the technology, consumer electronics, auto, chemical, and energy sectors.
Earlier in his career, as a law firm associate, Sidney represented clients before the Securities and Exchange Commission and the DOJ in joint civil and criminal investigations, and practiced contract, insurance, property, antitrust, and white-collar criminal defense. He currently serves as a trustee on the board of the Phillips Brooks School in Menlo Park.
Sidney received his bachelor’s degree in government from Dartmouth College and his Juris Doctor degree from Columbia Law School.
