Ramiro is a seasoned marketing executive with over 25 years of experience across Latin America, the US, and EMEA. He joined Google in 2016 and has been serving as the Latin America CMO since 2022, leading the marketing for all Google products and brands for both businesses and consumers. Ramiro has established himself as a thought leader with his marketing expertise and leadership, having launched several initiatives that have scaled globally. He has represented Google externally in front of significant associations and universities across several countries.

Ramiro is known for taking care of his team and being a staunch advocate for his region. He has been the executive sponsor of Google’s employee resource groups supporting Latinx and LGBTQ+ communities, HOLA and PRIDE. Ramiro has also led Velocity in Spain, where he coordinated cross-functional brand and reputation initiatives.

Prior to Google, Ramiro led Marketing for Latin America at Apple for over 5 years and held leadership positions at Thomson Reuters, AOL Time Warner, and The Boston Consulting Group. He holds a dual MBA in Marketing and Media and is a chemical engineer. Ramiro’s passion for cooking led him to graduate from the French Culinary Institute in New York City in 2010. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, surfing, windsurfing, and cycling.
