Michelle Bakels is the Program Director for Developer Health at G2i where she creates initiatives to support the mental and physical health of software developers, and has spent the last several years as a software engineer in South Florida. She is passionate about community and creating equitable spaces and opportunities in tech. Michelle is the co-organizer of React Miami Conference and Dev Writers Retreat, the Chair of South Florida Tech Hub Foundation, and a Board Member of 1909.
