Kate is currently responsible for Imperva’s privacy posture and strategy, ensuring compliance with the GDPR and other global privacy laws and regulations. She also partners with the product development teams and advises on Imperva’s data privacy products and solutions. Kate plays a critical role in ensuring privacy is central to everything at Imperva — as an employer, partner, and a vendor. Kate was previously Associate General Counsel and Global Data Privacy Officer at Infor, where she was responsible for managing global compliance with data privacy regulations. She led the implementation of a privacy-by-design strategy and helped Infor achieve industry-leading third-party certifications, such as GDPR Privacy Program Validation and APEC Cross Border Privacy Rules Certification from TrustArc. Over the past 20 years, Kate has worked as an attorney and served as senior legal counsel, advising companies on the impact of international data privacy laws as well as various commercial and intellectual property matters. Kate holds a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School and a Bachelor of Engineering from Vanderbilt University.
