Camila Torrente

Camila Torrente is an angel investor and Latin American Partner at ERA Global, one of the top active VC funds and accelerator programs in the East Coast of the United States.

Camila is responsible for building ERA Global’s network in Latin America and strengthening relationships with regional governments. Camila also works with global scale ups who want to scale their business globally. She mentors and advises several global companies on their go to market strategy for the USA. She is also a member and active angel investor of 37 Angels, a community of female investors in early stage companies.

She has been invited as a judge to various accelerator programs and pitch competitions like E-Merge Americas, Women in Tech, StartOut Brazil, Startup Chile, WeXchange, Arc Angel Fund.

Previously Camila worked as an Emerging Markets Strategist in fixed income and equity at Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch. She was responsible for building’s the firm’s top down EM strategy and recommending value trades to sales and trading desks; as well as institutional clients.

Camila holds a Masters degree in Public Administration and International Affairs from Columbia University in the city of New York and a Masters degree in Economics from Universidad de los Andes.
