Barry Field has 30 years of experience in enterprise technology and more than 10 in cybersecurity. Previously, as the leader of U.S. sales for Terremark, he transformed the company into a leader in cloud computing with revenues topping $360M. The company was acquired by Verizon for $2B and Field became SVP of Worldwide Sales responsible for Verizon’s cloud computing and cybersecurity sales and services. In 2013 he left Verizon to become a partner at Medina Capital, a private equity firm investing in high-growth cybersecurity software companies. Field sourced and led the acquisition of Cryptzone, a Sweden-based technology firm that was developing a breakthrough software-defined perimeter (SDP)technology and later became CEO. In 2017, Cryptzone was part of a multi-acquisition deal that formed Cyxtera, a secure infrastructure company bringing together retail colocation and security. Field became Chief RevenueOfficer of Cyxtera and immersed himself into the burgeoning Zero Trust security movement. In January 2020, Appgate was spun out of Cyxterato to become a standalone cybersecurity company
