Vice President, Field Network East for Verizon Wireless
Andrea Caldini is vice president, field network East for Verizon Wireless, the largest wireless company in the United States, with responsibility for planning, engineering, building and performance of the East half of the US for Verizon Wireless’ industry-leading voice and data networks, including its growing 4G LTE network and 5G Network. A premier technology company, Verizon operates the nation’s largest and most reliable 4G LTE network. Prior to her current role, Caldini was vice president of Field Network South for Verizon Wireless, responsible for planning, designing and operations of the Verizon Wireless Network in the south territory. She has served as a Director in planning for SDN, NFV and Orchestration for Verizon’s Global transformation to virtualization. She also worked internationally in Switzerland for five years in various technical leadership roles. Prior to her international experience she held leader ship positions in Network Implementation and Product Development for Verizon. Caldini began her wireless career at Lucent Technologies and has held a number of positions in engineering, operations, and project and service management supporting advanced wireless data and IP products. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications from the University Tampa and an MS from Stevens Institute of Technology.
