Marina holds a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Computer Science from New York University. Prior to relocating to Florida, Marina was a financial software developer and Vice President with Merrill Lynch/Bank of America in New York City and spent over a decade developing financial software for various Wall Street institutions.
Marina is a co-founder of Code/Art, a local non-profit that uses art as an on-ramp to Computer Science. Prior to founding Code/Art, she was a volunteer instructor in Miami for Girls Who Code. Marina also founded HackedArt.com, a local startup focusing on algorithmic art generation. She is passionate about narrowing the gender gap in technology, and is currently involved with the Women’s Fund Miami-Dade’s Pay Equity Campaign.
