Claudio Muruzabal leads SAP Latin America and the Caribbean at a crucial time: When the business world confronts disruptive business models and the opportunities of the new digital economy. His mission –shared by over 4,000 employees across the region– is to understand customer challenges, and help them grow and compete using highly innovative technological solutions, which can simplify and make their operations more efficient.
With a vast experience that spans over 25 years in the IT industry, Claudio’s deep understanding and knowledge of the Latin American market and of SAP’s innovative portfolio, are central to SAP’s success in the region, and to advance the company’s leadership in platforms, applications, business networks, and user experience.
Aligned to his firm belief that education underpins all progress and transformation, Claudio joined the Board of Junior Achievement Americas in 2016, in support of their mission to promote education, coaching and entrepreneurship opportunities for Latin American youth.
Before joining SAP, Muruzabal was CEO of NEORIS for ten years, leading the evolution of this company into a global management and IT consulting business that posted 20% annual growth. Previously, he was Vice President of Teradata in Latin America and the Caribbean under NCR. He also held various leadership positions at NCR, in both Mexico and Argentina.
Claudio holds a Global Executive Master in Business Administration from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, and the title of Business Administrator from the Catholic University of Argentina, where he graduated as a Certified Public Accountant. His office is located at the SAP for Latin America and the Caribbean headquarters in Miami, Florida.
